Beidou-2 satellite navigation system is a new generation of global health guidance system developed by China. The system (Phase I) was initially networked in 2012 to provide PVT services for users around China. The Beidou-2 receiver can provide ships with accurate position, speed and time information in real time within the coverage area of the Beidou-2 navigation satellite system to assist ships in completing navigation. Now it is widely used in oceangoing research ships, oceanographic survey ships, offshore engineering work ships, transport ships, oceangoing fishing ships and other types of ships.
